In Italy, one of the first European countries to be impacted heavily by COVID-19, essential services had to adapt quickly, under pressure, to ensure water, food, goods and medical supplies moved through the supply chain and met increasing demand – all while ensuring that safety remained a top priority. While COVID-19 may be behind us, the world we are returning to will not be the same. Instead we are creating a “new normal.” In order to explore what this means, Mobileye is hosting a panel discussion, “Finding a New Normal: Italian Essential Services Share How They Adapted to the Pandemic and its Aftermath”. Speakers Michele Palumbo, Head of Supply Chain Management, Bayer Italy and Massimiliano Garri, Chief Innovation & Information Officer at Acea SpA and Chief Executive Officer at Acea Innovation will share their experience navigating the outbreak as the virus spread swiftly through Italy. We will delve into crisis management from the field across industries, discuss lessons learned until now, and the strategic role new technologies will play in improving efficiency in a very demanding world. Key takeaways will include tips and examples from the field on: • How to lead and adapt your business during uncertain times • How to operate in the new normal: risk management, economy and trade • How innovative data collection can help utility companies and cities improve efficiency • How safety technology will play an increasing role in a post-coronavirus world
