Join us for analysis and discussion of the impact of the pandemic and lockdown on urban transport
As those who cannot work from home are encouraged to return to work, this event will look at the impact of the pandemic and lockdown on how we travel and discuss the future of urban transport.
How have urban transport systems around the country responded and how have different places been affected? How has behaviour changed? What might be the ‘new normal’ for urban transport in coming months and years?
This event will include a presentation from Paul Swinney, Director of Policy and Research at Centre for Cities, followed by responses from Jonathan Bray, Director of the Urban Transport Group, and Laura Shoaf, Managing Director of Transport for West Midlands.
This will be followed by a Q&A session chaired by Andrew Carter, Chief Executive of Centre for Cities.
