Hydrogen 2023

Hydrogen is the Swiss army knife of the energy transition. Adaptable and versatile, hydrogen is the energy carrier to decarbonize the world’s most polluting industries. Quite simply, there will be no net zero without it.

Incentivised by public and private sector commitments, hydrogen is estimated to generate $700 billion in investments to meet global demand by 2030. However, the roadmap to scaling up remains unclear. Half-hearted policies and unclear frameworks, chicken and egg dilemma between supply and demand, uncertainty around financing, and insufficient infrastructure all block the scaling up of the global clean hydrogen economy.

Collaboration and knowledge exchange is the only solution to tackle these challenges. This event – taking place on March 28 – 29, in Amsterdam – unites global public and private sector leaders – from energy producers, off-takers, financiers, technology providers and policymakers with one mission, to move this element from pilot to full-scale bankable projects. No government, organisation or business can unlock the billion-dollar opportunity alone.
