ENJOY RIDING AT THE HEART OF PARIS LA DÉFENSE:
We are all getting back to our workplace, mostly commuting either by car or public transport.
There are however alternative and more sustainable ways to commute. That’s why Paris La Défense together with Mobility Makers is inviting you to #BikeToWork. A special event designed to promote bicycle commuting.
“Out of the 180,000 workers that commute everyday to Paris La Défense, 36% live within a 35 minutes by bike ride, 87% commute by public transport.”
Thanks to the BikeToWork event, enjoy free access to guided tours, workshops, bike quizzes and even learning sessions to repair or maintain your bike.
A 5 STEP INITIATIVE:
- DISCOVERY TOUR
Don’t get lost on your bike in the middle of those big towers! With BikeToWork, discover the different bicycle accesses to the La Défense slab.
- Qualified educators supervising the tours
- Discover the bicycle accesses, the new signs, the road markings, the secure bicycle parking, the bicycle repair room
- Slots of 8 people every 15 minutes
- Open to all, cyclists & non cyclists
2. SELF-REPAIR WORKSHOPS
Come discover and learn how to repair your bike by yourself by participating in 45 minutes workshops
3. BIKE MARKING
By marking your bike, you give it a unique number, registered in the police database and available online. This way, if your bike is found somewhere, it will be identified and returned to you.

A quiz 100% dedicated to the bike and animated by a professional of the bike mobility will be organized during these two days.

Riding a bike or a scooter safely is not an easy task, especially in town!
The prevention workshop teaches you how to use bikes and scooters better through private lessons.
