SUMMARY:eHUBS: What are they and how do they connect different modes in a MaaS landscape
DESCRIPTION:Are you familiar with the concept of shared and electric mobility hubs?\nWould you like to know more about how cities in North-West Europe are preparing to deploy them on their streets?\nAre you interested in understanding how eHUBS connect different sustainable modes of transport in a MaaS environment?\nThen, you cannot miss the first webinar organised by the Interreg NWE project eHUBS on 29 May, from 11 to 12 CET!\nRepresentatives of local authorities, city planners, researchers, shared and electric mobility experts and providers are invited to join the webinar that will present how the project aims to contribute to CO2 emission reductions in 6 European cities through the deployment of more than 90 shared and electric mobility hubs.\nArjen Rodenburg, project manager of eHUBS, will introduce the audience to the concept of shared and electric mobility hubs that has been developed and promoted in close collaboration between local authorities, shared (electric) mobility providers, universities and network organisations.\nTjalle Groen (Taxistop) will present how the project has worked together closely with the TOMP-API Working Group on a standard for communication between Transport Operators and MaaS providers while keeping the needs of the public authorities and cities in mind. The digital side of an eHUB will be showcased, demoing the kiosk application developed in the project. Moreover, the importance of standardising data exchange will be illustrated, by showing some practical advantages and give a hands on explanation of the TOMP-API.\nThe webinar will be moderated by Bram Seeuws, Autodelen.net\n
